Silk Road Online Emu Development
Okay, so atm It's only me and a member of LevelMe.net's staff.
There will be more people in the future, it's just there are 3 running projects atm (inc. sro dev) and we have a small ammount of programmers, so progress isn't exactly rapid.
So, I'm carrying on the work from 'clearscreen's' emulation project of Silk Road Online.
I'm using the un-compiled source files. It's been converted to VB.NET, as we thought the .NET Framework would be so much easier and quicker than coding it in C/C++ for 5 years.
Both me and the other developer have extensive knowledge in VB.NET and emulation.
Okay, so carrying on from the past emulation project this is it's current
Status:
Account Create : 100%
Character Create : 100% 3 Characters per account
Character Login : 100% - Exactly as official.
Character Movement : 100%
Character Chat : Now 100% Working
Character Skills : Started
Character SP use : Started
Character Heath etc: Still the same (In progress)
Silk Road Online Emulator Status:
Design, Look & Feel:
New design layout - Complete
New menu system - Complete
"Starting Silk Road Online Service" Status box - Complete
"Opening Connections" Status box - Uncomplete
"Connecting To MySQL Database" Status box - Complete
"Silk Road Online Service Awaiting Connections" Status box - Uncomplete
Silk Road Online Database:
SRO_Database created - Complete
account - table created "account_id, username, password, first_name, last_name, gender, created_date, last_login, deleted, dob, email, quiz1, answer1" - Complete
Silk Road Emulator:
MySQL database connection. - Complete
Silk Road Online Emulator opens & tests MySQL connection on launch, if connection is fine status box will be ticked. - Complete
Account Loading function, selects all accounts from database, lets server owner know how many accounts are active. - Complete
WinSock routines copied over - Uncomplete

It would really help if i had some support from you, just feedback and comments, suggestions and opinions.
Another thing you could help me with is if there is anyone who plays/played SRO and who has a fairly good idea of mob rank, stats on items, skills etc then sign up to www.LevelME.net and PM Tyuchi or preferably post in the SRO Development section.
